The Swedes Knogjärn continue their rock history with the forth record. BLY (in Swedish means LEAD) released at 24^th of January via Indie Recording.

I really liked “Mera Bedövning”, so I eager to know what “BLY” sounds. All the power of alternative rock shaped in 12 tracks. The lyrics in Swedish, therefore there is place for intonations and emotions. The half of album is worthy to greet. You can find the pick of key tracks below.

The first mentioned song is speedy “Farväl” with heavy metal drum beating. “Bara gör det” is unstable and almost hysterical track. As well as “Ingen kommer in”. There is something between punk and emocore. “Inget lever länge här” mixed several genres with soft refrain and clear voice parts. My personal fav is “Min stad”. The desperate refrain with absolutely heart-teasing “så föll också jag” (eng: “so I fell too”).The odor of nu metal detected in “Tror du vill brinna”. Additionally, the final track “Kärleken Väntar” (eng: “Love awaits”) is heavier interpretation of Kent’s mastery. Resuming all the material, no doubt, the band is still seeking for own style.

Knogjärn made powerful kickstart of the year. Not the first time, so it became a good tradition. This year the band presented solid release, milder than previous but definitely memorable.
